Well... mostly all downs, as it were. We got nuthin' today and I don't feel like rantin' about that national handbasket we're all in, headin' for that hottest of hot places. That gets old after a while and aside from feelin' like I'm preachin' to the choir, what earthly good does the rantin' actually do? It doesn't even give me a feelin' of release any longer; it's just pointless venting. That asshat socialist will still be in the White House tomorrow morning, Harry Reid will be as clueless as ever, Nancy Pelosi will still be living in some sort of alternative universe, and Joe Biden will still be eating shoe leather for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Not that the clue-impaired Republicans are any better, with the possible exception of Mr. Gingrich... who is one of the few bright spots in our political sky. Other than that? It's frickin' cloudy with thundershowers... constantly.
Speaking of...
Yep. We've had a good run the last few days, what with moderate Spring-like temps and bright sunshine. Not so much today. There's an outside chance we'll take Happy Hour on the verandah this afternoon, but only an outside chance. There has been the occasional pitty-patting of isolated raindrops on my roof during the last hour... but nothing monsoonal, or anything. At least it's warm, eh?
