Musta Been a Hella Weekend

More than a few of my daily reads have either nuthin' in the way of new posts or minimal output, which is to say mere "square filling" exercises.  Not all, of course... some folks are still with the program... but the blogosphere's landscape is bare enough today for me to notice.  I can definitely relate and I think it might be the weather.  There's an ol' saying about February being "the cruelest month" and I do believe that to be true.  

OTOH, I also realize that mebbe a LOT of people are nursing hangovers from Sooper-Dooper Bowl parties.  That's a distinct possibility, too.  As for ourselves... we have a clear head today, speaking strictly about alcohol-related self-inflicted wounds.  None.  Thank The Deity At Hand.  But we ARE suffering from weather-blahs.  Here's what we look like at the moment:

 

That's the local private WX station's readings above.  About which: I never know who to believe... the PWS or an official US Gub'mint (specifically the US Air Force) report.  Note the difference in temps:

 

The temperature delta can be up to six or eight degrees from time to time; today it's only a few degrees, a piddling difference.  Nonetheless it remains cold, damp, and gray outside and that, Gentle Reader, is getting VERY old.  I didn't plop down on The High Plains of New Mexico to experience Michigan or New Yawk weather, yanno?

Motivation is lacking.
